QNB is awarding customers who shift to eazystatement

Automatic entry into a draw for 30 BlackBerry Bold 9900

Doha, 27 October 2011 - QNB is awarding customers who make an advance shift to electronic account statements in the aim of becoming a paperless organization while ensuring more flexibility for customers.

Customers who switch to eazystatement by December 1st 2011, will automatically be entered into a draw for 30 BlackBerry Bold 9900. The draw will take place on December 6th 2011.

QNB is aiming to reduce printed bank statements in favor of electronic statements. The plan is in line with the Bank’s overall objective of continuously offering more advanced options and services to its customers.  Customers will be able to request and review their electronic statements at any time using the Bank's e-channels, instead of waiting for printed statements each month.

Electronic statements are delivered to a customer's registered email address each month, however interim statements can be requested at any time by customers using QNB's various electronic channels.

Customers currently registered to receive printed statements will soon receive SMS messages with information on how to set up their eazystatement preferences.  The transition to eazystatement will be offered through free SMS registration. However, customers who still require printed statements for book-keeping purposes can opt for the same through an official SMS from QNB providing them with instructions.

QNB is aware that for many customers the transition to eazystatement will require support and guidance. The Bank's Customer Care Center representatives have been specially trained to handle these enquiries and will support customers in case they require familiarization with the eazystatement set up process or if they need further instructions on how to use the Bank's full eazylife suite of electronic services, which includes eazyinternet, eazymobile, eazyphone, eazysms, eazypay, easycash and eazyATM.

QNB's electronic banking services are offered under the eazylife brand which comprises a suite of services designed to help customers complete their banking transactions whilst on the move and without having to visit a branch or office.
